RECREATION ASSISTANT I
SCOREKEEPER
(16 years of age or older)
This classification is the entry level of the recreation series working under immediate supervision.
Duties:
· Performs a variety of tasks in support of programs.
· Monitors & assists with the supervision of individual programs, team sports, & activities.
· Responsible for event set-up & execution.
· Performs customer service & miscellaneous office duties.
· Administers basic first aid, if needed.
· Responds in emergency situations within scope of training.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
· Eighth grade graduate.
Experience:
· Previous experience working with recreation programs preferred.
· Must have ability to work indoors & outdoors.
Requirements:
· This is a non-driving position.
Pay:
· $11.40-13.40/hr. DOQ
RECREATION ASSISTANT II
(18 years of age or older)
This classification is mid-level in the recreation series working under general supervision.
Duties:
· Performs a variety of activities related to the organization, direction, maintenance, & supervision of recreational programs.
· Assists in leading other workers.
· Administers basic first aid, if needed.
· Responds in emergency situations within scope of training.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
· High school graduate or G.E.D.
Experience:
· Previous field/tournament experience desired (both indoors & outdoors).
Requirements:
· Must possess valid driver’s license.
Pay:
· $12.53-14.53/hr. DOQ
RECREATION ASSISTANT III
FACILITY SUPERVISOR
(18 years of age or older)
This classification is the highest level in the recreation series working under general supervision.
Duties:
· Performs a variety of activities related to the organization, direction, instruction, maintenance, & supervision of recreational/sport programs.
· Assists in leading other workers.
· Administers basic first aid, if needed.
· Responds in emergency situations within scope of training.
· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
· High school diploma or G.E.D.
· College graduate preferred.
Experience:
· Previous facility, recreational /sport programming and/or tournament experience desired (both indoors & outdoors).
Requirements:
· Must possess valid driver’s license.
Pay:
· $13.77-15.77/hr. DOQ
Hours:
· Vary depending on the programs assigned to work, includes evenings & weekends.
