ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT I
Community & Development services
Duties: Performs a variety of administrative support duties with a focus on answering & routing incoming phone calls; greets & directs visitors; conducts data entry in software program; maintains records & files; types correspondence, prepares reports & copies documents; schedules appointments, inspections, & meetings; issues permits & produces minutes as needed.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.; courses in typing, computer, & other clerical functions.
Experience: One (1) year clerical work with strong customer service skills; knowledgeable in Microsoft Office programs; bilingual skills in Spanish desired.
Work Type: Light, exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Starting pay: $16.39-17.21/hr. DOQ
